Charlotte Carpenter Lewis is an award-winning actress and singer whose vibrant career spans regional theatrical productions across California, where she has brought to life such iconic and diverse roles – from Eliza Doolittle in “My Fair Lady” to Sally Bowles in “Cabaret.” On-camera appearances include co-starring roles on “Newhart,” “Sara,” “Days of Our Lives” and “The Magical World of Disney.” Additionally, she’s performed at the Hollywood Bowl, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and contributed her singing talents to the development of the Richard Sherman musical, Pazzazz!


Charlotte is a passionate interpreter of the Great American Songbook, channeling the timeless works of Mercer, Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, Rodgers and Hart, and more. She has been featured at celebrated venues including The Cicada Club in downtown Los Angeles, The Gardenia Supper Club in Hollywood, the Velvet Martini in Studio City and New York City’s legendary Birdland Jazz Club, where she performed with world-renowned accompanist Billy Stritch. Her big band appearances include performances with The Alex Mendham Orchestra and The Matt Tolentino Orchestra aboard the Queen Mary 2, as well as with beloved Southern California ensembles like Dean Mora and The Johnny Holiday Orchestra, The Fabulous Esquires, and The Big Band Alumni.


Charlotte’s solo act, Miss Charlotte and The CharlotTones, has delighted audiences nationwide with its vintage flair and vocal elegance. In addition to performing, Charlotte and her husband Bill Lewis helm Lewis Productions, which has produced theatrical and musical events across the U.S. for nearly twenty years.

With her love of the Great American Songbook, she is now focusing her singing talent on the music of Gershwin, Porter, Berlin, Rogers and Hart and more. She has sung at the storied Birdland Jazz Club with world-renowned accompanist Billy Stritch in New York City and at the intimate Gardenia Supper Club in Hollywood.  She has appeared as a featured Big Band singer with The Alex Mendham Orchestra on the Queen Mary 2, The Johnny Holiday Orchestra at the world-famous Cicada Club in downtown Los Angeles, and The Fabulous Esquires at Rusty’s Rhythm Club. Additionally, she’s been performing her solo cabaret act throughout the country.
